On the eve of this magical day called Christmas, my heart isn’t filled with recipes or stories.
Christmas Eve dinner is cooking, fairy lights are twinkling and Nat King Cole is singing his songs.
It may be 73 Degrees F here in San Diego, but in my heart, the first flakes have just begun to fall.
And on this special eve of this special day, in the words of Thomas S. Monson, I desire to wish you this:
May the spirit of love which comes at Christmastime fill our homes and our lives and linger there long after the tree is down and the lights are put away for another year.
That your holidays be filled with peace, love and laughter, surrounded by those you love.
That along with the knocks and bumps of life, that it also be sweet.
I’m really glad you’re here. That you stop by from time to time. That you read my stories, make my recipes and share yourself with me.
You are irreplaceably special because you are the only You there is.
Merry Christmas! It’s a wonderful life, my friend. Thank you for being a beautiful piece of the tapestry in making it so.
